Thalidomide is used together with dexamethasone to treat multiple myeloma (bone marrow cancer). Thalidomide is also used to treat and prevent moderate to severe skin lesions caused by leprosy.

Generic Dexone depresses formation, release, and activity of endogenous mediators of inflammation, including prostaglandins, kinins, histamine, liposomal enzymes, and complement expression. Also modifies the body's immune response.

Lenalidomide works on the immune system. It makes immune responses to slow up tumor growth. Lenalidomide is used to cure anemia (a lack of red blood cells in the body), multiple myeloma (cancer resulting from a progressive blood disease), and mantle cell lymphoma (a rare cancer of the lymph nodes).
