Generic Bempedoic acid - , Salicylic Acid, Nexletol

Salicylic acid is a keratolytic (peeling agent). Salicylic acid causes shedding of the outer layer of skin. Salicylic acid topical (for the skin) is used in the treatment of acne, dandruff, seborrhea, or psoriasis, and to remove corns, calluses, and warts.

Bempedoic acid is used together with diet and other medicines to lower blood levels of "bad" cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein). Bempedoic acid is for use in adults with an inherited form of high cholesterol. Bempedoic acid is also used to lower LDL cholesterol in adults with coronary artery disease (clogged arteries).
